Pam & Warren’s Long-Awaited
Celebration of Love
July 19, 2025 | Waskatenau Hall |
💕 4 PM ’til the last dance
After knowing each other for nearly 20 years, having 3 kids, and making more hay bales than we can count, we figured it is time to throw a party and finally share a last name.
We’re calling it a wedding.
We’re also calling it an excuse to gather the people we love most for an evening of fun, food, and flowers.
There’s no ceremony, no speeches, no dress code.
Just a casual celebration full of joy, peonies, and probably a little two-steppin’.
What to Expect:
When: Saturday, July 19, 2025
Where: Waskatenau Town Hall (the one where Pam’s parents tied the knot on the same day in 1980 💕)
Time: 4:00 PM until the music winds down and the kids are curled up in someone’s lap
There’ll be:
A farm-style grazing feast (come hungry!)
Flowers for days (literally. It’s peony season.)
Music, mingling, and maybe a few happy tears
Dancing encouraged, shoes totally optional

You’re not wrong. It’s about an hour out of town, but it’s a beautiful drive and 100% worth it. Just roll down the windows, cue up some Shania, and treat it like the country road trip you didn’t know you needed. Scroll down for our playlist to get you in the mood

Nope! We made it official in our own quiet way.
There’ll be no vows, no aisle, no “kiss the bride” moment—just a stage for music, a dance floor ready for your best two-step, and the kind of love that’s been growing like wildflowers for nearly two decades.
We skipped the formality, but trust us: this is the forever and ever, amen kind of party. -
At this time, we’ve finalized our RSVP list and won’t be accepting additional guests. We are so thankful for your love and support as we gather with our nearest and dearest for this special day.
If you didn’t get an invite, chances are our spreadsheet simply ran out of space. (We blame the 50 children attending.)
We’re so grateful for the love and excitement, and promise to share photos, stories, and possibly leftover cake.

No thanks, we’re sure. Our setup crew has been hand-picked for their willingness to haul tables, problem-solve, and not cause emotional damage. 😅
If you haven’t heard from us directly, your job is simple: show up Saturday ready to hug, laugh, and not stress anyone out. 💛

We’re keeping things relaxed, real, and full of fun. Here’s what to expect:
Friday, July 18 — Hall Set-Up & Snack-Fuelled Shenanigans
We’re keeping this one simple: if you’ve already heard from us directly about helping with set-up, we’d love to see you Friday night.
We’ll be hauling tables, arranging flowers, nibbling snacks, and probably laughing way too much while someone tries to use a staple gun.If we haven’t reached out—don’t worry! Just join us Saturday for the main celebration.
We’re keeping things relaxed, real, and low-drama to protect the vibe (and our nervous systems).Saturday Morning Vibe:
No schedule, just space. We’ll be getting ready at the farm with a few light tasks, some coffee brewing, and a soft buzz of anticipation.
If you’re around and want to hang, we’d love the company. If you’re napping until party time, we love that too.Saturday, July 19 — The Big Love Celebration
4:00 PM ’til late | Waskatenau Town Hall3:30 PM – Doors open
4:15 PM – A simple entrance as a family of five and a few short words
4:30 PM – Grazing, mingling, tattoos & hugs
6:30 PM – Dessert table opens
7:00 PM+ – Music, dancing, and spontaneous joy
No ceremony. No speeches. Just a whole lotta love.
Sunday, July 20 — Breakfast & Big Love
9:00–11:00 AM | Same hall, new coffee
Drop in for a cozy breakfast and soft landing. PJs welcome.
No structure, just good people and baked goods. -
Nope! We have Overnight Camping (Yes, really!)
We’ve got room on the farm for tents and trailers, stay at the ball diamond campground right in Waskatenau.
Sleep under the stars or park it in prairie peace.
Let us know if you’re camping so we can save you a patch! -
We’ve got you covered. There will be a shuttle bus available to help folks get to where they need to go—whether that’s back to the farm, to a nearby stay, or just somewhere to swap your boots for sandals.
If you think you’ll need a lift, let us know when you RSVP so we can plan accordingly. No one’s getting left behind (unless they want one more slice of pie). -
There are a couple small-town motels within a 15–20 minute drive if you’re not into the whole “sleeping with the sound of frogs and laughter” thing. Feel free to message us if you need help finding one.

Sunday, July 20 – The Wind-Down
Casual farm breakfast (think: coffee, buns, bacon, maybe a few leftover desserts if we don’t eat them all)
Come as you are. Pajamas welcome.
This isn’t a goodbye brunch—it’s a soft landing with good people and strong coffee. -
Bold move, but sure. (Bonus points if you bring cinnamon buns.)
A Few Notes
Dress Code: Come as you are. Fancy? Casual? Farm-chic? All good.
Gifts: Truly, your presence is the present. But if you’d like to toss a few seeds into our travel fund, we’d love to turn those into memories across the pond. This field trip’s going international!
Kids: Absolutely. This is a family-friendly, barefoot-welcome kind of party.
Registry: Nope. Unless you count the pie table.
Photos: We’ll have someone snapping a few candids, but no awkward posed photos. Just the real stuff.
